Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Ranky, the Discord bot and the website at ranky.bot (the "Service"), operated by Individual Entrepreneur Andrii Tyshchenko, Ukraine ("we", "us"). By adding the bot to a server, using its commands or using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you add the bot on behalf of a community, you confirm you may accept these Terms for it.

1. The Service

Ranky gives members of Discord servers experience points (XP) and levels for activity such as messages, reactions and voice time, and offers leaderboards, level cards, roles for levels and related tools. Features are described in the Guide. We may add, change or remove features at any time.

2. Discord

Ranky is not affiliated with or endorsed by Discord Inc. You must follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and be old enough to use Discord in your country. Ranky depends on Discord, so it may not work when Discord is unavailable or changes its platform. Stream alerts likewise depend on Twitch and YouTube; by using them for YouTube you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• farm or fake XP with scripts, self-bots or automated accounts, or help others do so;
• use the Service to harass, spam or harm others, or for anything illegal;
• attempt to break, overload, reverse engineer or get unauthorized access to the Service, or bypass plan limits;
• upload images or text (such as card backgrounds, bot avatars, nicknames or messages) that are illegal, infringing, hateful or sexually explicit;
• resell or rebrand the Service without our written permission.

Server managers are responsible for how Ranky is configured on their server, including messages, images and roles they set up, and for informing their members where needed.

4. XP and levels

XP, levels and ranks have no monetary value, cannot be sold or exchanged and exist only to show activity within a server. Server managers can change them, and they may be adjusted or reset to fix errors or abuse.

5. Free plan and Premium

The core features are free. Premium is an optional paid subscription for one Discord server that unlocks extra features and higher limits, sold through our website, not through Discord. There is no free trial: the Free plan is free forever, so you can try Ranky before buying.

• Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns, under its own buyer terms.
• Prices, billing periods and included features are shown before you pay. VAT or sales tax may be added for your country.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; Premium then stays active until the end of the paid period.
• If a payment fails, Premium may continue for a short grace period and then the server returns to the Free plan. Your settings are kept, but features beyond the Free plan stop working.
• Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.

6. Your content

You keep all rights to content you provide (such as custom messages and images). You give us a limited licence to store, process and display it only to run the Service for your server.

7. Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service at any time by removing the bot from your server. We may suspend or end access for a user or server that breaks these Terms or puts the Service or others at risk, and we may discontinue the Service with reasonable notice where possible. If we discontinue Premium without cause, we will refund the unused part of any prepaid period.

9. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it reliable, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that data will never be lost.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, lost profits or damage caused by Discord, other services or users. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; for significant changes we will post a notice on the website before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the new Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring claims there.
